State of Readiness

- Condition One: Attack is present, or imminent. The CIC is locked down and the ship's commander is on station.

- Condition Two: Threat probable, but not present.

- Condition Three: This is the "all clear" alert, returning crews to their normal, day-to-day non-combat duties after Conditions One or Two. This is normal cruising during wartime.

Well, it's 6:45am on a beautiful Thursday morning, and I'm at work, which is a change since I have always come here in the afternoon. I've always been a night person, but I have to get used to this once I start college in a few weeks. Work, combined with college, adding to that time for yoga and my new girlfriend, (I'll explain THAT below), I'll have barely enough time to sleep, and have a brew once in a while.

Now, my new girlfriend. Yes, people, I have a girlfriend. her name is Alejandra, (herein referred to as Ale), we met through a mutual friend about 3 months ago, and started dating about a month or so ago. I feel good around her, so I guess I'll keep her around for a while.

On Monday, my brother-in-law Erick and I had a long chat, between beers and gambling, about what should I study in college. Now, since I'm already working at the hotel, I figured that I could major in Tourism, and make a career here, but, there's that eternal question: What If?

What if I get a better job offer in something other than the hotel business? Could I handle it with a Tourism degree? I long for the days where thing were simple, but I guess that's growing up for you.

These are just some things that have happened since the new year. One of my resolutions is to update this as frequently as possible. Let's see if I live up to it.
