Well, ladies and gentleman, I have gotten a job. I never went to India, so I blew about L. 2000.00 on that. Then, one day, after my mom came back from touring the North Coast, she gives me a newspaper (La Prensa) and she tells me that there's an want ad for Assistant Reservations Manager at the Paradise Beach Hotel in Roatan. So, I took a shot, and I sent in an email with my resume. A couple of days later, I get a response from Nicole Schneider, who is the Commercial Manager of the hotel. We trade emails back and forth and we schedule an interview. Long story short, I get the job. Then, it dawned on me. I HAVE TO LEAVE MY FAMILY, FRIENDS AND HOME TO GO 500 KM AND BE ALONE. FUCK. Anyway, it was kind of hard getting on that bus and waving goodbye to my mom and Roberto (Who had volunteered to drop me off at the bus station)I cried, my mom cried, we all cried. Thank God for Carlos (My friend of 2 years who lives on Roatan). He works in a bar in West End named Twisted Toucan and he gives me free booze, so I can at least save some money. The hotel is nice, albeit, kind of disorganized. There have been a series of fuck up lately, most of which, thankfully, haven't been my fault. I have nice co-workers and the work load is soft. But, I still miss home. So there.
