- Condition One: Attack is present, or imminent. The CIC is locked down and the ship's commander is on station.

- Condition Two: Threat probable, but not present.

- Condition Three: This is the "all clear" alert, returning crews to their normal, day-to-day non-combat duties after Conditions One or Two. This is normal cruising during wartime.

Happy drunks.

Here I am with El Primazo at Friday's after drinking with Gough and Steph at Applebee's. We were happy 'cause the Red Sox were on track to winning the ALCS and stamping their ticket to the World Series.

It's my 22nd. birthday today. My golden birthday. One's golden birthday, also called a champagne birthday, is the day when the age someone turns is the same as the day in the month he or she was born. For example, someone turning 26 on December 26 celebrates his or her golden birthday on that day.

So I reckon that it's a special day today. According to to the 17th-century chronology of the history of the world formulated by James Ussher the Anglican Archbishop of Armagh, the Universe was created today. That's kind cool actually.

So, today has endless possibilities. We'll see what happens.
