State of Readiness

- Condition One: Attack is present, or imminent. The CIC is locked down and the ship's commander is on station.

- Condition Two: Threat probable, but not present.

- Condition Three: This is the "all clear" alert, returning crews to their normal, day-to-day non-combat duties after Conditions One or Two. This is normal cruising during wartime.

Loneliness is an emotional state in which a person experiences a powerful feeling of emptiness and isolation. Loneliness is more than the feeling of wanting company or wanting to do something with another person. Loneliness is a feeling of being cut off, disconnected and alienated from other people. The lonely person may find it difficult or even impossible to have any form of meaningful human contact. Lonely people often experience a subjective sense of inner emptiness or hollowness, with feelings of separation or isolation from the world.

I guess that it could be considered normal for a human being, such as myself, to experience such feelings. I DID burn my last bridge the other night, with somewhat good reason. I haven´t heard from her since.

It´s my own damn fault. Again. Afterwards, I wonder why I have a strange compulsion to call knocked up, stripper ex-girlfriends and try to save them from themselves. Well, not them. Her.
