State of Readiness

- Condition One: Attack is present, or imminent. The CIC is locked down and the ship's commander is on station.

- Condition Two: Threat probable, but not present.

- Condition Three: This is the "all clear" alert, returning crews to their normal, day-to-day non-combat duties after Conditions One or Two. This is normal cruising during wartime.

Everyone has dreams and goals. Few persons plan how to reach these goals, how to fulfill their dreams. A lot can happen in 4 years. People are born and people die. Couples fall in and out of love. The more things change, the more they stay the same.

Since I have had more trouble in my romantic relationships, I have decided to turn my full attention toward my professional and political career. In the space of four years, I will have acquired my degree (in public relations of marketing, I have decided yet), I will have started studying for my Masters and I will run (successfully, hopefully) for Congress and become a Congressman. All by the time I turn 27.

Congressman Garay. Has a nice ring to it, doesn't it?

Just because I lost her (Them), doesn't mean I have to lose sight of who I am and who I want to be. Right? It shouldn't affect me, even though I do. I shouldn't pay attention to the fact the nobody calls me on my cell or writes, excepting the usual, daily, inane talk I have with everybody.

So. Since I don't have anything else to do.
