State of Readiness

- Condition One: Attack is present, or imminent. The CIC is locked down and the ship's commander is on station.

- Condition Two: Threat probable, but not present.

- Condition Three: This is the "all clear" alert, returning crews to their normal, day-to-day non-combat duties after Conditions One or Two. This is normal cruising during wartime.

10 days.

10 days is what separates me and certain unemployment. In 10 days time, Honduras will go to primary eleccions. What I need to not be unemployed, is for Canahuati to win. Sounds simple, no?

It's not.

A co-worker/friend of mine, El Chele, mentioned that Canahuati was going to win, because God had put him here, in this campaign, for a purpose. Even though I'm not that religious, I like to think the same too. I somehow feel that if he won the primary and then the general, my future in the Party and professionaly would be set on a course that would take me to Congress, City Hall and eventually the Presidency.

But, I still have my doubts. I don't really know what I'm going to be doing come December 1st. I may have a job for one more year or I may have nothing.
