State of Readiness

- Condition One: Attack is present, or imminent. The CIC is locked down and the ship's commander is on station.

- Condition Two: Threat probable, but not present.

- Condition Three: This is the "all clear" alert, returning crews to their normal, day-to-day non-combat duties after Conditions One or Two. This is normal cruising during wartime.

Have you ever cried over something?

I have. Once, when I was about 12, my guppie, Pepofobia, died. I cried like a motherfucker. And I remember that it really hurt. Now, last sunday was probably the last time I will ever talk to Emma. And I cried. She heard me cry. It was bad. And it REALLY hurt. Now, I don't want to get into details, because I'll wear out the keyboard, but for those of you who don't know, Emma is an ex-girlfriend. It was complicated. Complicated like explaining the Schroedinger's cat thought experiment to a 5 year old. We had our up's and down's, but now it's finally over. No mas. c'est finite.

I'll update later. Time to have a beer!
